The first edition of the Canadian School Cup 2025 marked a high point in the sporting and community life of the Canadian International School of Lomé (CISL). More than just a competition, this event embodied the values of conviviality, surpassing oneself and unity between young people from different schools in the capital with international programmes.
For Laura Martin, CISL's primary school director and chair of the organising committee, the tournament was about much more than sport:
"The aim of the tournament was to bring young people together in a friendly atmosphere to share their passion for sport. It also aimed to create positive memories and strengthen team spirit between pupils from different schools."

The competition was marked by intense encounters, exemplary fair play and an enthusiastic atmosphere throughout.
Ms Martin also praised the high level of participation by girls, which is encouraging for the development of women's sport in Togo.
Through this initiative, CISL reaffirms its commitment to promoting the values of sport, youth and excellence, while creating unique opportunities to share and inspire the leaders of tomorrow.
